The application phase for the OUTNOW! Festival 2026 is now closed. The festival jury, Anna K. Becker and Johannes Schürmann (artistic directors of OUTNOW!), Janna Schmidt ( Schwankhalle communications), Canan Venzky (dramaturgy/direction), and Mable Preach (Direction / Choreography / Author), will begin their work in October. A shortlist will be created by the end of the year from around 850 applications received.
